Breckenridge Oktoberfest turns 30 this year, and it's exactly the kind of send-off late September deserves: steins, live music, and historic downtown closed off for a proper street party. Here's what to know before you go.

Breckenridge Oktoberfest runs Friday through Sunday, September 25–27, right in the heart of downtown. Pouring starts at 2:00 pm Friday and 11:00 am both Saturday and Sunday, with this year's 30th-anniversary collectible steins as the thing everyone will be talking about. It's free to attend, family-friendly during the day, and exactly as festive as you'd expect from three decades of practice.

It's also, quietly, the last night of the season for Breck Create's AirStage concert series — free live music every Thursday since June wraps up this evening in the Ridge Street Arts Square, so if you've been meaning to catch a show, tonight's the night.
